I want to be a Fashion Designer. The outfits I have made, I used no patterns and no manikin. I just used fabric, a sewing machine, and a ruler. I taught myself to sew the outfits on this channel less than two years ago.

In February, Tide sponsored a design contest and asked America to design an outfit for Venus Williams, in which VENUS WILLIAMS will wear at the 2010 US Open. At the end of the ten week long contest, over 35,000 thousand entries were submitted. VENUS WILLIAMS studied the top 60 finalist and choose my outfit for the winning design to wear at the 2010 US OPEN. Venus Williams wore my design on September 2nd, 2010 for Round 2 of the US Open, in which I attended to see her wear my outfit. Also, I won $5,000 dollars which I will use to help me start my own clothing line.
