Oliver Gerard is a new musician whose acoustic guitar, mic and melodic solo symphonies have been receiving amazing feedback that has inspired Oliver to release his first ever (and much awaited) single "7AM" set to be released for March 2012.

Growing up with music loving parents in Mississauga, Ontario, Oliver always enjoyed exposing himself to a wide array of music. His dynamic vocal skills can be attributed to his father's influence and years and years of rocking out and singing his heart out to his favourite songs! At 13 years old Oliver picked up his dad's guitar for the first time and began teaching himself chords which immediately brought Oliver to songwriting. Oliver's love of sharing and working on his talent was obvious as he hit the stage many times in his teens in musicals, concerts, talent shows and performing at parties.

After beginning to work for himself, Oliver was grateful that he is now able to refocus more energy towards his music and collaborating with other talented local artists. His main influences though come from Dashboard Confessional, Radiohead, Incubus and many others.

Oliver's focus is to creating music that help listeners achieve a next level of awareness and be compelled to step outside their comfort zone. Not only are Oliver Gerard's lyrics honest and powerful, but they will relate to anyone who is seeking truth, beauty and love in their lives. Deriving most of his material from deep introspection, self-awareness and his own life lessons he hopes that his words and rhythmic guitar strums will move and impact listeners.
