Welcome gamer! Hey you don't look so good. What's that? You say that you're tired of the plethora of high priced garbage being shoved down your throat by this current generation of game developers? I have just the thing for you. Step into my rehab clinic where you will find that all is not lost. Yes. Games can be fun again. Relax here and discover the true meaning of innovation and revolution. Learn here what games were like when they didn't suck. May your healing process begin.
My channel is dedicated to sharing the greatness of video games from generations behind. To remind those who lived through them and to show those who have not. It is also a goal of mine to provide a quality reference in every game video I post so that it is accurately represented for someone who may have never seen the game before, or someone who never got around to playing it. For this reason I will never post a video using an emulator. I see no purpose of capturing video of an emulator since anyone who has a semi decent computer can run a great deal of them. I am not against emulation at all. I think emulators like Nestopia, BSNES, and Kega Fusion are going to be even more important in the future to help preserve video game history as they are highly accurate. I will be using copies of games sometimes that were either never released in my region, or games that go for too much money due being rare or just a straight up bad deal. However I will be using them on real hardware and will label those videos as copies.
Although I do appreciate comments, and subscribers, they are not my main goal. I find that people who are just trying to gain subscribers produce sterile gameplay. They also record with emulators that aren't even close to accurate like ZSNES. Many times they have bad commentary cause they're trying to be funny, and they're not. Ever since I tried my hand at capturing my first gameplay video, I have found myself having more fun than ever with my retro game collection. With every video I record I am reminded of just how great many of these games still are. Just note that most of my videos are done with little or no practice before hand. I don't aim to impress with my gameplay. If I do good, that's great. If what I capture is just downright embarrassing, I will practice more and do a retake before posting. As Steve Benway says, "It's not a walk through, play through, review, anything like that. It's just me playing the game.........so you can see what it looks like."
I am not here to do reviews or let's plays. I am here to let the games simply speak for themselves.
