About Me:

Hey How's it going, my name is Keith. I am very much into car's and motorsport's. I own a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. I bought it on August 28, 2005. Ever since me and my father have been doing what we can to restore it, and make it better than stock.

The Car came to me with a 2 barrel 350ci. oldsmobile engine, th350, and 2.56 R2 code rear differential. The previous owner weighed nearly 350lbs.(i think, i didnt weight him :D) which provoked us to install all new, complete suspension along with steering from OPGI. INCLUDING:

- Front & Rear Spring's
-KYB Dual Action Shock's
- Standard Rubber Bushing's
- Ball Joints
- Centerlink, Tie-Rod Ends, and Idler Arm
- 1" Sway Bar
- Custom Boxed Rear Lower Control Arm's
- Quick Ratio Gear Box

WHEEL'S & TIRE'S:: Vintage Wheel Works V45
Front- 15x7 BFG T/A Radial 225/60/R15
Rear- 15x8 BFG T/A Radial 245/60/R15

Many year's ago my brother had a 1969 Buick Skylark Custom 4dr. It was totalled on Interstate I-5. The main reason for the accident was simply the FRONT DRUM BRAKES. So when my car came along we wanted to make sure the same incident didn't happen to me, we installed the Following.

- CPP Disc Brake Conversion Kit
. Rotor's
. Caliper's
. Brake Line's and Hose's
. Proportioning Valve
. Master Cylinder & Brake Booster
oh yeah! and the "Disc Brake" Brake Pedal. hehe

Along with...

Rebuilt Rear Drums with CPP Stage 3 Spring's, Advances, & Shoes.

Recently i wanted more available power out of my 350 oldsmobile, so on went the following:

- Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold
- W-31 Option Camshaft (.474in./.474ex. ; 240 dur. at .050)
- Rocker's(w/bridge) and Lifter's
- Hooker Competition Header's
- 2 1/2 in. Flowmaster Exhaust w/ H-pipe
- 50,000V HEI Ignition
- 4 Core Radiator

With the Excess Insurance money, I purchased:

- Pro Car Bucket Seat's
- Carpet
- Headliner
- Door Panel's
- sound deadener
- Foam and Upholstery for Rear Seat
- Complete Stereo system
. pioneer Premier Head Unit
. Tsunami Wiring
. Eclipse 4 & Mono Channel Amp's
. 12" Infinity Subwoofer
. Custom Sub Box
. 2 Polk Audio Compound 6x9's . 2 Polk Audio Compound 6 1/2"

Nice to see a strong support for Oldsmobile out there, and to see the creations people are making with these cars. Hope your project goes as you wish.

Hey bud, sorry it took a minute to reply, this new youtube layout trips me out. The new motor maybe has 100 miles on it up til this day. I haven't drove it much. Tell your dad that I really appreciate his compliment. I will keep her as original as possible, I am more of a performance guy and don't like much of the custom work on cars. I prefer it classic with a monster under the hood. How are things going on your end?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on the comment. The built spec isn't much, just a worn out 455 w/ c heads and a stock TH400 tranny. Nothing special at all. Pair of beat up Hooker Headers, 3.73 gears, E-brock upper and lower arms and a pair of Flowmaster Mufflers. Everything is coming out in a month or so and in goes a fresh 455 with K heads and a 2004-R tranny. New Hooker Super Comp Headers, 3 inch x-pipes and SLP Loudmouth mufflers.

Well, I'm hoping for around 250cfms around .500-.600 lift so we'll see. I have to call the machine shop here and figure out when they'll be done... getting ancy! Just found out I should be back together by next weekend... here's hoping!

Yeah, putting 2.25" over the rear diff is a no-no... a little too much back pressure hey?
