(Part Two)
On Tuesday, August 10, 2010, Alan (Conrail2576), Rich (CSXno601), and I journeyed Westward along the busy ex- Baltimore and Ohio mainline from the Willard, Ohio vicinity all the way to Fostoria, Ohio! This was my first time railfanning out that way in Central/Western Ohio, and it was truly a great, action packed day! There where times throughout the day where we thought we were out West somewhere, simply because we were seeing more BNSF power than CSXT power. A majority of the trains had foreign power, and we loved it! In this part, you will see the locations of Republic and Fostoria, Ohio. In part two of three, you will see the following:
• Republic, Ohio:
N859-09: Eastbound Loaded Coal BNSF #5929 (ES44AC) and BNSF #6144 (ES44AC),
Q164: Eastbound Intermodal CSX #556 (AC4400CW) and CSX #4781 (SD70MAC),
Q394: Eastbound Mixed Freight CSX #7681 (C40-8W) and CSX #7390 (C40-8W),
N859-10: Eastbound Loaded Coal BNSF #5626 (AC4400CW) and BNSF #5796 (ES44AC),
• Fostoria, Ohio:
H795: Northbound Auto-Racks BNSF #6715 (ES44AC) and BNSF #9231 (SD70ACe),
Q375: Westbound Mixed Freight CSX #8773 (SD60M) and CSX #8730 (SD60I),
X095: Southbound Light Power CSX #9031 (C40-9W) and CSX #7603 (C40-8),
E958: Westbound Empty Coal UP #7236 (C44AC) and UP #7254 (C44AC),
Q393: Westbound Mixed Freight BNSF #8864 (SD70MAC) and (Ex- Santa Fe) BNSF #8217 (SD75M),
261: Westbound Roadrailer NS #9627 (C40-9W) and NS #9403 (C40-9W), and
Q517: South to Westbound Mixed Freight CSX #8716 (SD60), CSX #88 (AC4400CW), AND (Ex- DEEX #008) LTEX #1207 (U30C)!

(Part Two)
On Sunday, August 8, 2010, my friend and I attended the 1:05pm Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Colorado Rockies baseball game in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A friend of ours gave us the tickets and the seats were great! The Pirates would go on to lose 8 to 4. After the game, we then continued East away from Ohio; our destination was Cresson, Pennsylvania! This is the second part of the train action that we saw during our stay at the Station Inn Bed and Breakfast. We started the next morning, Monday, August 9, 2010, right there in Cresson. We then met up with another friend to spend the afternoon at the World Famous Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, Pennsylvania. After spending a few hours there, we went back to Cresson for the rest of the evening before heading back home to Ohio. The pictures of the ties, spikes, and rail that you see towards the end of the video is of the track 5 West. The night before we were there, NS was shoving back a grain train and the last car where the conductor was riding derailed and left its mark on the track there. A friend of ours gave us the tickets and the seats were great! The Pirates would go on to lose 8 to 4. After the game, we then continued East away from Ohio; our destination was Cresson, Pennsylvania! We arrived at the Station Inn Bed and Breakfast sometime after 7:30pm, so we didn't have much sun light to work with. Thankfully we managed to catch a few movements before it was completely dark outside. After sun set, however, the trains kept on rolling! We saw quite a few trains roll past the Inn during our evening time on the front porch. On the next morning, Monday, August 9, 2010, we started the day right where we left off, right there in Cresson. This video consists of the baseball game, as well as Sunday's evening and Monday's early morning train action. In part one of two, you will see the following:

On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, my friend Matt (CSX2788) and I got together one last time before he would head back to Florida for the school year. Only having a few hours to do anything and with the weather being rather crappy, we only saw a few trains. We started off in Struthers, Ohio on NS's Youngstown Line where we caught a train backing up into the yard. After that we headed Southeast to Enon Valley, Pennsylvania on NS's Fort Wayne Line, where we didn't see anything. After that, we continued East to New Galilee, Pennsylvania where we would catch both and Eastbound and a Westbound at two different locations. From there it was over to Rochester/Conway, Pennsylvania where we only saw one. In this video, you will see the following:
• Struthers, Ohio: (C.P. Graham) NS #8832 (C40-9), NS #5359 (GP38-2), and NS #5308 (GP38-2),
• New Galilee, Pennsylvania: (Mile Post 40) NS #9862 (C40-9W) and NS #2596 (SD70M),
- (McKinley Road) NS #7675 (ES40DC) & NS #9678 (C40-9W), • Rochester, Pennsylvania: (C.P. Rochester) NS #9905 (C40-9W) and NS #2646 (SD70M), and
• Conway, Pennsylvania: (East Conway) NS #3808 (SD38)
