About Me:

"I'm in a position of feeling secure enough so that I can say what I think is right and if so many people think it's wrong that I get fired, well, I've got enough to eat," - Andy Rooney. About his strongly opposing the war in Iraq.

"There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there—good for you.
But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers
that the rest of us paid to educate...Part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay
forward for the next kid who comes along." Elizabeth Warren

"Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home--but not for housing. They are strong for labor--but they are stronger for restricting labor's rights. They favor minimum wage--the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all--but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine--for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing--but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing--so long as it doesn't spread to all the people. And they admire of Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it."
- Harry S Truman

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creatures, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.- Stephan Grellet.

"In our glorious fight for civil rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans, such as 'right-to-work.' It provides no 'rights' and no 'works.' Its purpose is to destroy labor unions and the freedom of collective bargaining...We demand this fraud be stopped." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich. -John F. Kennedy

What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." -- John F. Kennedy

The test of our progress is not whether
we add more to the abundance of those who have much,
it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."-- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that mater. -- Martin Luther King Jr.

"If a majority of workers want a union, they should get a union. It's that simple. We need to stand up to the business lobby and pass the Employee Free Choice Act. That's why I've been fighting for it in the Senate and that's why I'll make it the law of the land when I'm president of the United States." -- Barack Obama

"Despite the grievous harm that Reagan's presidency inflicted on the American Republic and the American people, it may take many more years before a historian has the guts to put this deformed era into a truthful perspective and rate Reagan where he belongs -- near the bottom of the presidential list." -- Robert Parry

OhioDemocrat: This is Paolo7219. Thanks for sending me the video on "We're number 1!" Very interesting. BTW: do many Ohioans realize that Kasich was once an employee of Lehman Brothers? Does Kasich ever have tyo answer for his employment background. Ohio must be an amazing state. It can produce a John Kasich and a Dennis Kucinich. I mean, talk about diversity. wow.

Ohioians beware the campaign against teahcers is growing statewide perpetuated by Kasichi and many of his minions.

We already have healthcare in Maine. Guess what? Its rationed! Homeless people who are sick are being turned away!

YEah Im greatful! Im also grateful that libtarded scumbags like you who live off of welfare and don't pay taxes force ME to pay nearly all that I earn so you can keep slacking. WTF! YOu think just because the government provides a service that they won't take it! YOu are a fucking useful idiot if I ever saw.
