Seems like maybe there's something slick about that final turn before the front straight. Sand? Dirt? Gravel? Oil? Off-camber? Lots of cars seem to get real tail-happy there, and not just the knuckle-dragging American V8s, either.

He's at the Nurbugring Nordscheife in a racing-prepared Porsche Turbo. They're in BMW 1-series, Fiat 500's, Toyota Yarises. He could have passed them all on the back straight. The hardest part for him was not smashing into the back of anyone. I'm not exactly amazed.
