I am a 16 year old rap artist out of Portland, ME. I currently go by the stage name of Zaya, putting down on the mic for 207 and all of New England. I go to Deering High School and play basketball year-round. I am the newest (and youngest) member of Solid Recordz and Tripple 7 ent. since late October 2010. Since then i've been working on my first mixtape which should be out by this summer 2011. My musical influences include: Lil' Wayne, Ludacris, Drake, Jay- Z, And Kanye West. I grew up constantly listening to music and memorizing lyrics at an early age, which helped me to learn what types of songs fans are interested in. My flow is a mix of many different styles; from southern hip hop, to R&B. Every time i touch the pen i only get better and better, surprising and also surpassing all of my peers. With that its only a matter of time before i reach my goal of being a nationally known and respected lyricist, just like my musical influences.
