Jim hope your enjoying Winter Haven, though i see no activity since 2008-you'll probably never see this, course '09-no one around here was online (smile),after that I can see why you moved back to Haven. When you return-if you want to eat the best bowl of beans, mess of greens and skillet cornbread there is-feel free to drop on by-thanks for all the great laughs and songs.

Always enjoyed your music and your songs with a quirky twist to them. I always wanted to learn how to walk around the guitar like you did. You usually did it between verses of "Spiders and Snakes". Do you have a video of you doing that? I think that is the coolest thing a guitarist can do.

Just love you, Jim Stafford!! Had such a little girl crush on you. A couple of years ago when we were in Branson, it was an absolute must for me to come see your show. So happy I did. I felt like a little kid again and laughed hysterically too. Such a rare talent. So glad your videos are on here for us to enjoy.

hey jim I know the people lately don't appreciate talent as a poet but your song last chant was a real inspiration to me and my writing, you really hit each beat in that song mechanically perfect and you really captured the feelings as well, If i lived any closer to florida I would be out poaching gators. check out my channel

Hi there. I had forgotten how funny you are. I'm so glad I found you on YouTube. I haven't seen you since the early 70s. God bless you and all the best.

For years I've wanted to see an uncut video in good condition of Little Bits and Pieces without the edit from the Michael Nesmith feature near the end. Does such a thing exist and is it available?

Jim Stafford, I wanted to ask you some questions about your song "Swamp Witch" ("Black-Water Hattie"). Were you inspired by legends you had heard? Why did you pick "Okeechobee" and "Black Bayou"—do these places have associated stories? Why "Hattie" for the name of the witch—was that just a common name for a witch where you lived? It's a remarkable piece of poetry and if you've answered these questions in an interview before, I would be grateful if you could direct me to it. Otherwise—and I know you're very busy—it would be great if you could tell me a bit about how you came up with this wonderful song.

Gidday Sir,
One of the Most Treasured Albums that I own would have to be "Not Just Another Pretty Foot". It took me years to find a Copy in this Country. Bit has bought me much Enjoyment. Thank-you and Rock On.
Cheers Drew
