GROUND PLAN
"The Urban Ethnotech Solution"
Ground Plan started as a group of young New York City based musicians ushering in the era of what they termed, "urban ethnotech music". It was founded by Andi and Fionnghuala Leahy in 1984.
Ground Plan combines Celtic music with the percussive elements of African and Latin music. They produce a fusion of traditional Irish music with modern. This unique blend of music developed as a result of living in the multicultural and multiethnic neighborhoods of New York City.
