Predominantly influenced to initiate a music hobby as a 2 piece act, Mako & Wee'D formed a faction known as Gangland Authentic in reference to the current social status of inner city Scotland. Originally the two had been members of Glasgow based group Triplecuttt but after much thought they had left the group in order to compose their first project 'You Know What It Is'. There were no hard feelings brought to the table by either camp and both still remain good friends today. After the sketchy mixtape was released, G.L.A had decided to take their time on their next Project, building 'Beyond Wordz' for over a year. With a stable fanbase and resuscitated love for Music they teamed up with two other Local Mcs to complete a 3rd project, 'Drunk & Disorderly'. both Mcs however had went their seperate ways from G.L.A by the end of the tape but no hard feelings were felt. Wee'D Dropped a solo tape 'Behind Closed doors' Soon after. G.L.A have just completed their 4rth Mixtape 'Nostalgia'
