Currently in Wolverhampton England, one of the Senegambia's rising artists, songwriter cum singer, Du-fee, is set to release a new single called 'Seniorita' the summer of 2011.

The song will be accompanied by a video for the club version as he scale up efforts for the final release of his much anticipated new album probably in December 2011. The Gambia-UK based singer has in recent years been working relentlessly in pushing his music to the world. Currently working on worldwide style of music ranging from Afro-Rnb, reggae-sonic, pop and many others, Du-fee started his music career as a teenager in the Senegalese city of Dakar, where he grew up.

He later came to The Gambia and formed a group named 'K-Man J', a rap-mbalax group that spiced up the country's entertainment scene. With the latter group, they released two albums, namely 'Niarr' and the second one -a compilation on the African Union (AU). Du-fee then later decided to go solo, working with some Jamaican producers based in the United Kingdom. It was last year when he released latest album called 'Words of Wisdom', which blazed the country's music scene with the video clip earning frequent air time on the national Broadcaster (GRTS) and other African channels, as well as on some private channels in European countries like Austria, France and Italy.

In a recent interview with What's On, Du-fee stated that he has own his own recording studio called 'Kasumai Prod' which is currently fully operational. "My label company was registered last year in the United Kingdom called 'B-Xone. I will be opening a new recording studio in Dakar, Senegal by December 2011 and would be called 'Du-fee Du-fey Studio," he stated.

Inspirations
"I just got the feeling to be a singer and I believe in myself that I could be a messenger into the music, to preach and please as well as preach positive vibes and lyrics to the people," he stated.

Stressing that music has no borders, he added that he always try to do his music in a way for everybody to comprehend especially the wider audience. "like my name Du-fee and beside, I am trying to be a worldwide singer to sell more products as well as to be a well-known international star," he explained.

He further advised his fellow artists to be focused, steadfast and work harder as there are many good artists in the country, adding that artists have to believe in themselves first, be original in their music, natural and try not to copy what others are doing. "We have to be creative as well as to learn more about music and its instruments. Also, to know how to sing on a metronome, creating their own lyrics and style of music," he added, while urging his colleagues to be united as one and be clean-hearted. While thanking his fans for their moral support, Dufee finally urged them to watch out for this projects coming in November.
