About Me:
Keith Rodriguez, also known as DJ Walküre (pronounced Valkyrie) is more than a DJ. He is a re-mixer, a leader, a visionary and some would say the epitome of the modern era digital DJ.
DJ Walküre is 24 years old, born and raised in New Jersey. He started his own business officially at the young age of 22, but has been learning and working the ropes for years before that as well. He has been a musician his entire life, and a DJ at heart for more than half of that. His fascination with the DJ culture started to bring him to where he is now, starting at the age of 15. Starting with nothing more than 2 portable cd players and a Marshall guitar cabinet, he has since gained the experience, the equipment and the knowledge to really make your event larger than life. His knowledge of music is extensive, and is not limited to one specific genre. Everything from Country, to Rock, to Top 40 club music and everything in between. His style and music selection vary by venue and event, and is constantly changing. Known to pull out all the stops, DJ Walküre never fails to keep people moving. Whether he is DJ'ing, MC'ing, or just controlling the lighting for your event, he is sure to bring an element to your party that you never knew achievable. His discipline (gained from being in the Army Reserves as a Military Policeman for 5 years and counting) insures that every detail of any event, no matter how small, or how large, will be exactly as you envisioned it.
DJ Walküre's first event was a sweet 16 for his friend when he was just 15 years old. He as since then done over 100 sweet 16's to date. Over 50 weddings, and many charitable events/fundraisers.
Notably, Walküre has also made many club appearances (QXT's , Club Abyss, Ekko Ultra Lounge, Studio 9, Fire n Ice and Club Merge to name a few), hosted his own online radio station, and dj'ed private events for many celebrities as well, up to and including after parties for concerts and personal parties.
DJ Walküre prides himself in his connections in the industry, and is able to offer live performances, celebrity appearances and consulting services ("Pain Free Wedding Planning" for example) to make your event one that will be not only Elegant, but also one you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.
"Walküre" is the German spelling of Valkyrie, and can be found listed in history as far back in time as the when the Vikings existed. Just in case you guys were wondering about the pronunciation and the origin
