Oncee upon a time two high school kids named Che Cunningham and Sam Williams, who were pissed about all the shitty music around them, decided to do something about it. After debating over what genre to pursue and what to name the band, we settled on prog thrash metal and Sortiarius, meaning "sorcerer" in Latin. After a long hard search through the golden halls of Valhalla for an accomplished, reliable drummer, we found D.J. Mays, and a (hopefully) stable lineup was born.
