Welcome to my the Official Youtube Channel!

Carl Lindquist is a Swedish singer and musician. Born and raised in Stockholm, Carl has always been keen of music and immersed in a musical environment with his family. While growing up, his influences started with David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Elvis Presley, to grow to diverse styles such as Russell Allen and Dave Grohl.

Very fond of guitar, and also player of that instrument along with keyboard, bass and drums, Carl is a singer, first and foremost, and since his very young age. With a very typical and unique voice, Carl Lindquist has learned to differentiate himself from other rock singers with the strength of his vocals.

Always seeking new challenges, such as participating on various projects around the world, or covering well known hits, Carl is also a songwriter. With lyrics about nature, mankind, various feelings and issues, his songs are always deep and meaningful for his listeners.

Lead singer of the band COEXISTENCE, with a first album entitled "Flow" available in fall 2011.

His latest participation in a musical project was with VRA / Split-Screen Covers / Dream Theater from Brazil. Together they did a cover of the Dream Theater song, "As I Am". The project has been very well-received all around the world and VRA was even mentioned on National Brazilian TV for their great work.

Carl is also currently working on his first solo EP, which he plans to release in spring of 2012.

1) My solo EP "End of Our Road" (2012)

In spring 2012 I will release my first solo EP entitled, "End of Our Road". The recordings of the EP took place in France, 2011. We are right now in the mixing/mastering process, so be sure to stay tuned for more news regarding the release! Meanwhile, you can watch the three video updates I posted from the recording sessions.

2) "Destiny Calls" (April 2010)

In the beginning of 2010 I went into the studio to record the song "Destiny Calls". The song is written by me and my brother and it's based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Band: COEXISTENCE
Albums: Flow (2011)

A French/Swedish metal band formed in August 2008 by French guitarist Grégory Giraudo and Swedish singer Carl Lindquist. Their first EP, "Carrion Comfort" was released in June 2009. The 4 tracks demo was well received by numerous websites and magazines, giving one after the other positive and encouraging feedbacks. Even the famous magazine Sweden Rock, praised the potential of the project and their members.

In July 2010, the band headed to the THD studio in the South of France to start recording their first album. It took them nothing less than an entire year to passionately craft and polish these 10 tracks to the new and first album entitled, "Flow".

Coexistence, now with a really high quality album under their belt, is actively searching for a label that would give them their chance to get to a real stage and play to the world.
