Pronounced "OWS-LAY-BEN", which in German means "LIVE IT UP", Ausleben is an entirely suiting title which describes the band's dauntless lyrics, musical diversity, and open-minded antics. With a highly intricate blend of thrash, speed, and melodic metal, touches of rock, and hints of battlefield chaos.

When asked about what Ausleben sounds like, the frontman swiftly responded: "... the best description I can give you of Ausleben, is if Dragonforce meets Metallica, with touches of Pantera and Dethklok, this still doesn't even describe us enough because there are so many more influences of ours, such as Tran-Siberian Orchestra and Pink Floyd for random, highly diverse examples."

The young singer, songwriter, guitar shredder, John "Metal" Faber (at a mere 18 years old), became the cause of Ausleben during the summer of '08 when he met fellow guitarist Adam Winslett, and introduced the idea of "Ausleben" to Winslett. A regular jam session would take place between the two, sparking what is now "Ausleben."
