Ever since the age of 5, I got this trial version of a music software named 'eJay' in a box of cereal. I loved it to bits and used it all the time. seeing as I was such a young age at the time, I was pretty annoyed once the trial version had run out after 30 days, so I got a copy of Dance eJay 6 for my 7th birthday. It was brilliant, and I started to sharpen my music production skills, even on the most basic of software.
Another big moment in my life was when I met my cousins. I was 7 at the time, and my cousins were in their twentys. They were both DJs and one of them recorded a mixtape for me, and let me have a little go on the decks. This is what really got the ball rolling, and this is also where my taste for Drum & Bass came from. I really wanted a pair of decks, and they were on my 'most wanted' list of items for a while. By the time I was 11, I bought a pair of decks, and started uploaing short mixes to youtube, which got a good amount of views and positive comments, seeing as I was at such a young age.
And now we're here, and im still going strong on the music making and DJing. Thanks for reading!
OLISAURUS
When I was 12 I walked into HMV and came across a band name that make me chuckle: The Sex Pistols. But little did I know that that band would change my life for ever. I had discovered punk rock! I loved it's freedom and aggression and it made me want to form my own band.
Thus, I started off my musical "career" in a grunge band where I taught myself to play the bass but then in 2009 a little band called The Prodigy realised an album entitled Invaders Must Die which formed my love for electronic music.
At around about the same time, I met Seany D, a DJ and friend of one of my mates, he was in my English class at school. We started hanging around together and then started making tunes in his studio. That basically brings us to this moment in time. I'm in a happy relationship with my amazingly sexy girlfriend and i am hanging out with 2 of the greatest friends a guy could have!
