Music entered my life at an early age. If my memory serves me correct, 10 was that age. I started recording raps & freestyles on a boom box tape deck over old tapes. I remember even "DJ'in" my own mixtapes with various songs recorded off the radio, so my interest grew rapidly for music early on because by 13 years old, I was creating my own loops on a demo of a program called Magix Music Maker. Middle school brought about a lot of creativity for me. Instead of going outside, I would STAY on the computer. Practically live on it.

Enter Rebell!ON

During the 8th grade I became friends with a kid who was interested in the same thing I was so we created a group called FireSquad. Damystic & Rebell!ON. We were the hottest thing in 8th grade, at least in my eyes, but I got ALOT of recognition for my lyricism early on & the kids love the songs so we created more & more! We wrote a book full of songs that I believe I still have to this day that we both contributed to on topics about girls & where we were born to parties & custom dogtags that were popular at the time. Rappin' to industry beats was a hobby, but when original lyrics started to stack up, original beats were needed, but I didn't know how to even obtain beats so where was I to start? I had heard a lot about FL Studio (initially called Fruity Loops at the time). I abandoned the old Magix program for what everybody else was using. It even got to the point where all the kids in computer lab would download the Fruity Loops demo & make beats in class comparing the hottest sounds we could come up with. My brother taught me the basics & I was making original beats in no time.

Enter Official

When high school started, my mother & I moved, so that forced me to create on my own. Distance put a hamper on FireSquad. This is when I took music seriously. I changed my name & at 14 years old I was writing a lot & recording more, but rode the fence of production & lyricism at this time. I made a song with a childhood friend by the stage name of Authenik that I had also produced entitled, "Ball Til' We Fall". That was a peak time in my musical endeavors & I don't think I've recorded or written as much now as I did then. Around this period, I had read a lot on music production & youtube has done wonders for me on the mixing of home recordings & music. My older cousin had a keyboard with software programs that he didn't know how to work better than I could, so he would pay me to produce song ideas he had. When my mother caught notice of my high interest in music production she bought me a keyboard controller for my 16th birthday. My baby that I still use til this day. An M-Audio Axiom 61.

Enter Official3Sixty

At 16, I was making about 10-15 beats a day. Unmixed quality aside. I sold beats at this time to hungry artists for $50-$100 per beat. That afforded me the necessary condenser mics & audio interfaces I needed for, what I'll call, "an entry level artist". I honed my craft & felt like I mastered FL Studio & moved on to a Reason demo. That didn't last long. I started using Pro Tools, which was a BIG learning curve for me. That's when I was introduced to Cubase. I entered online beat battles to showcase my talents, lost many, won some. This helped to perfect my sound & productions & better myself overall as an artist. I read a lot on things like sound synthesis engineering, mastering, oscillators & everything, learning as much as I possibly could on my own.

Enter 3Sixty

I spent a year in Excelsior Springs Job Corps, so I spent a lot of time working on the artist 3Sixty. That place enhanced my skills as a writer ALOT. I performed in a talent show & received an AMAZING response from the crowd, & was instantly identified by my stage name rather than as Alexx. I still write from time to time, but not as much as I use to, but don't get it twisted, I'm a beast with the pen now, citing Kanye West as one of my major influences. I still use the name Official3Sixty, for originality purpose because if you Google 'Official3Sixty', you'll instantly find me. From the Web tab to Video, pictures & music can be found, so I guess I can say, "You Can Google Me".
