Guys quit your pathetic IGN hating BS. Wipeout Pulse was capable of running at a higher fps and it was on the freakin PSP! There is NO reason why 2048 couldnt be running at 60fps. If Mario Kart 7 can do it then so can Wipeout. Its a perfectly valid criticism.

@Aamon32 Fair enough. TBH I was pretty much expecting the project to go this route ever since it was announced. The only thing about it that I find disappointing is the shift in story timeline to after MGS4. Everything else looks good to me.

That said I'm in the minority and I know it. These are...

Dammit, I knew this game would be a day one buy from the moment I first heard about it, but I dont think I can spare anymore money for games this month.

Also, a relatively STABLE wrpg with gameplay on the same level as Dark Souls? Hell yes!

A great game to be sure, but it cant touch FF9, or FF4 for that matter. Its legacy may not be overated, but the game itself definately is IMO.

I do agree with your point though. IGN haters dont seem to understand that IGN isnt just one person most of the time.

Honestly I found The Sorrow from MGS3 to be more disturbing than Psycho Mantis. I mean Mantis was a giant mindfuck, but he looses his impact after the first playthrough IMO. Sorrow on the other hand just creeps me the hell out, and he still does.

Really cant agree with this list at all. For such a risky topic, he should have at least explained his reasoning better. The things he said throughout were trivial at best.

As for my top FF games they would be:

1) FF9

2) FF4

3) FF8

4) FF Tactics

5) FF12

Not particularly suprising. Personally I enjoyed Skyward Sword far more than Skyrim, but to each their own I suppose.

I'm happy with the winner, but part of me wishes that To The Moon was a nominee. Sure it may not be much of an actual _game_ but as an interactive experience its utterly incredible.

Still, Bastion is awesome, so I can only complain so much.

@unprofessionalvids Nomura never directed an FF before FFvs13 though, unless you count Advent Children. I agree Toriyama sucks though, comparatively speaking.

I downloaded and played this demo a few days ago myself, and I was flat out stunned at how good it was. Hell, I still cant believe they got both styles of play so right this time. If the whole game is this good we really are watching Sonic's return to form.

Like many of the comments I would like NMH3 to come to the WiiU BUT I would want them to keep the Wiimote controls from the prior games. So basically, same control scheme with inproved visuals on the new system.

@awsomosaurus995 Only the 360 version came out months ago. The PS3 version comes out next week.

I got to about 15 hours in before calling it quits on this game. The reason? 3 words: controls, camera, combat. And this game screwed up all three. It just wasnt worth putting up with IMO.
