Ahhh, the fine art of dancing with a KLR. I love taking my 2008 off the pavement, it will climb anything so long as I can stay on top of it. The only area I have trouble is sand, which is understandable.

What happens when you hold the gas halfway down? Or all the way down? to try to keep it running? @gubbadog There are a few engines that are four stroke and a 180 degree crank, the first one that comes to mind is the Kawasaki EX-500/500R Ninja. They have an uneven firing order.

That's the place I was riding when my Polaris oil injection pump decided to quit. Unknowingly ran it for about a half hour with no oil... I run premix now!

I love riding that place. I've taken my Husky WR250 out there, my Polaris 250 trailblazer, and once my brother and I took his Samurai and my Trooper out there just for the hell of it.

@BiagioBaller Everything is relative. *I* say both the GT500 and the M3 are only fast when there is a road to roll on, and I could take them both with my 120 HP Isuzu Trooper, as long as I can pick the course. /troll

My brother has a sammy with 30x9.5x15 tires, a 4" lift, crawler gears, and every body panel a different color. It will go absolutely anywhere you point it. And if you should make the effort to get it stuck, so what. It doesn't weigh much, and it's super easy to pull out!

The forklift is a Toyota electric 7 series... 4 wheel.

Holy cow, I've been looking for an explanation of where the green wire goes on remote coil TBI V-8s for an hour, and this is the only one that shoes. Everyone else says "The white wire" but there are two white wires on the coil!

So sad. Troopers are great vehicles, and that one ran great. Isn't driving old cars recycling? They'll never get MY '88 trooper.

What about shaft drive bikes? If I'm going to be limited to a hub-gearing setup, I'd rather not have a belt OR chain.

I have an '88 Trooper. Sits on 31's. it's the most capable 4x4 I've ever owned, but far from fast. There's nothing it won't go over, up, or through.
