Oceanport is going green!

Welcome to Oceanport's YouTube channel for our Sustainable Jersey program.

The world is eventually going to switch over to sources of energy that are not based on the finite resource of fossil fuels. Even if we dont choke to death on the fumes we produce, the reality of the situation is oil will eventually run out, and we will have to make changes whether we like it or not.

Oceanport can take hold of an inevitable future right now, so why shouldent we? 25 Years from now our kids in grade school today will be pressed even harder to conserve. We have an opportunity to give them an incredable head start on almost every community in America.

Let's not wait to be told what to do. Let's just get started very early and do whatever we can to set a good example by showing others how it's done, the Oceanport way.

Oceanport is not going to change in a week, or even a year. It will probably be five years before we see substantial changes. OR, We can wait to be told what to do by the over regulated double speak bureaucracy. Naaaah, the community project way where we can do it at our own pace seems much better.

Uploads will be few and far between in the beginning. As time goes on, videos featuring projects built by our very own friends and neighbors will be uploaded on a weekly and monthly basis.
