The vehicle is inherently unstable, with the center of gravity in the middle instead of at the bottom. Eight thrusters controlled by sophisticated software generate artificial stability, but in any position.
The operation took some time, so a memory card change in the camera was required. Regretfully this means that it is not all recorded, however, the operator did not receive any help getting the diver to the surface.
