Loved Jonathan Dunn - I preferred his Ocean Loader to Galway's, though Peter Clarke's is untouchable.

Yet another appalling C64 conversion by US Gold. They didn't manage many decent ones - Ghouls n Ghosts, Turbo Outrun and Forgotten Worlds spring to mind. The 64 wasn't well suited to fighting games. Only Renegade really worked and that was because you had to use the keyboard in conjunction with t...

I love my 64. But this is pure crap. A classic case of US Gold cashing in on the licence when they knew full well the 64 couldn't handle a decent conversion - particularly with a joystick featuring ONE button. Oh, and the music is a disgrace. Musician must've had 2K of memory to work with there.

Hubbard was the pioneer. He let us hear the SID chip's potential. Follin unlocked that potential and more. Only Galway and possibly Jereon Tel stand up to him. His music was stunning, magical, and way beyond what shoud've been possible. Love Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 8 (Level 2) - so brilliant - as is ev...

Tim Follin - Time Trax, Title Music (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Some of the best Mega Drive/Genesis music ever heard - sadly, the game itself was never released. Musician: Tim Follin.

Many thanks to Kenz (OMAHM) for making me aware of this track. Tim Follin was no lover of game music, but he was supremely talented. This is absolutely the best track I've ever heard from the Genesis / Megadrive. Yes, better than Thunderforce 4 (just about), Streets of Rage, Dynamite Headdy etc
