All these hundreds of new indie rock bands are all pretty formulaic, poppy, and bland, but this hot scene reminds me of the evolution of new wavers. And there are some somewhat unique one poking out of the scene it's kinda fun to watch history repeat itself. Hopefully this might influence some of...

this is for young college students who will eventually start developing a great taste in music because this band introduced them to better bands that happened way before their time, but I enjoy listening to this kind of music from time to time.

@CaliforniaVolante yeah it really is, but they are much better than a lot of the other hipster bands. I'm actually going to see them live since there isn't many great shows in my town. But still, yeah, not very great.
