The Blue Things and the Fabulous Flippers played a sophomore mixer at my HS, Shawnee Mission North in Fall, 1966. The Blue Things bassist played the keyboard with his right hand and hit his bass notes with his left. I think it was Joe Tex's "Show Me". They were fantastic.
