Whether freestyling onstage, producing in the studio, or battling veteran emcees NyelLee specializes in holding down the crowd. This concious rapper was born out of "The Gaterhing" scene of Philadelphia, and moved to New York to attend college at the "Clive Davis Dept. Of Recorded Music" at NYU.

He has gone on to establish himself as a regular in the New York open mic scenes, Performing at the Nuyorican, Mindspray Open Mic, and Sin-Sin's Monday nights. Winning battles stacking tracks, and spitting for anyone from the students he mentors to A&R's.

This Winter marks the release of his debut album FROSH! Named after the academic term for freshman, FROSH features 12 songs written during his freshman year in college, highly personal, highly lyrical, and socially engaging. The CD is gaining momentum from DJ's from New York to London, and is poised to be a cult hit of 2007. FROSH! In a backpack near you!
