Nurtural Horse is not about 'being perfect'; we are about 'getting better'. We care about horse lovers who constantly want to improve, without setting a limit to where 'getting better' takes them. Our goal is to help novice horse owners improve and develop their relationship and skills with their horses, by nurturing with kindness. (We are not claiming to be perfect or concerned about impressing the perfectionists. Sorry.)

I am a horse lover. I live at Guys' Acres, in Worthington, a tiny part of the City of Greater Sudbury in Northern Ontario, Canada. For our company, Nurtural Horse, I do product design, with the help of my husband Gerry and son Eric (both very natural horsemen) and our many horses.
Although we visited farms as children and share a love of nature, neither Gerry or I had owned horses before we bought a 500 acre farm in 1997. Like so many first time horse owners, we listened to everyone's wise advice to get older horses and professional help ... and then went out and bought beautiful young horses to grow up with and love. We've never looked back!

Thanks to natural horsemanship, we have come to develop the relationships we dreamed of with our horses. We created the Nurtural Bitless Bridle to achieve better harmony. We delight in training young horses. One day, I aspire to dance with my horse in dressage!
