asalamu'Alaykum my brothers and sisters of Islam...
It is Ramaden...a time for self reflection and self restraint.
It is not just a time not to eat or drink, but to restrain our expressions of communication from idleness, and our eyes and ears from viewing and hearing things that are not in our spiritual interests.
It is also a time to repair broken relationships and ask forgivness where it might be needed. It is a time to evaluate our convictions, words and deeds. It is a time to share with others, especially those we do not know, or may never meet.
Most of all, it is time for us to worship Allah together. A time when lines on a map are erased. A time when the language barriers are broken, skin colour, texture of hair, mean nothing. The only time a billion plus people are doing the same thing...at the same time...coming together in one big Masjid.
inshaAllah I humble myself to the privilage to worship with you all...just one more time.

I think that putting the pictures and calling it a colour book is misleading. The words of the book...if the child is able to read tham, do not seem to be geared to an age where a child would be too old to want to colour the picture.
