@2xtream NO Pollution from Coal??? Ever heard of acid rain? That comes from coal plants with high sulfur coal. Coal plants release natural occur radioactive isotopes in the environment all day long.Read up on the Chernobyl incident then look at other industrial accidents and compare impacts.

@thugugbob This was most likely caused by Hydrogen building up inside the concrete containment building that surrounds the reactor. This is a known issue with systems in place to deal with it (hydrogen recombiners). It seems that the systems like so many others recently could not work properly ...
