About this user

The Ivory Duo Piano Ensemble is a husband-and-wife two-piano/4-hands team with concert pianists Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis Archontides. Natalie was born in Sweden and spent most of her childhood in Italy before the family returned to Greece. Natalie has studied piano mostly with Julliard graduates in Greece and the US, and has further studies in musicology from Royal Holloway, University of London (MMus '07). Similarly, Panayotis was born into a musical family in South Africa, before moving back to Greece. Later he spent part of his teenage years in Sydney, Australia, before returning to Athens, Greece. Panayotis studied with an Arrau pupil, Elizabeth Powell then Head of Music at NSW Conservatorium. He completed the MMus in performance with distinctions in both his final recital and his lecture recital from Trinity College of Music, London. The pianists perform regularly in Europe.
