I didn't find the first hour boring at all, though a number of critics did. For boredom watch Heaven's Gate. Cimino did not know when to say cut. As for this cut, it is not all that great. I remember when this movie ended in the theater. SILENCE.

In the early 90's or late 80's in NYC I saw Get To Know Your Rabbit at a retrospective of Welles' work. Welles actually is hysterical in this really oddball movie. He was certainly funnier than Tommy Smothers.
