A GROOM has claimed his Thai bride left him penniless -- after giving him special spices ­during their marriage to put him off bedroom romps. Rodger Morris, 64, says Juthamas, 54, sedated him to calm his libido, burned through his £60,000 savings and then ditched him.
He says he is heartbroken over their split and would never try to meet someone online again because of what June has done. "I've learned my lesson and won't be doing internet dating again.

"I found letters in Thai to her ex-husband and a translator warned me she had put things in my food.
"June always prepared the dinner but she cooked my food first, served it to me, washed out the pot and cooked hers -- even though we were eating the same thing. "Every night I felt very tired and lethargic. One time I was so sleepy that I almost fell off the chair. "I think she did it so I'd be asleep by the time she came to bed." June, who works in a nursing home near where the couple lived in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, categorically denies drugging her husband and claims the only thing she added to the meals were Thai spices. I went to work, came home and did nothing else. The couple first chatted in 2007 after Rodger posted a profile on dating website Thai Love Links. But the four-year relationship ended in December last year. Dad-of-three Rodger thinks it is no coincidence that it came just three months after June's UK citizenship was granted. He said: "I think that was what she wanted all along and once she had it she wanted nothing to do with me. "I haven't got a penny to my name. Everything she earned, she sent back to Thailand. I had to pay for the house, food and bills. "Before I met her I had £60,000 in savings but that is all gone now." But June, who says she is living in a homeless refuge for women, said: "I gave him £100 every month from my salary -- he needs my money because he is retired. I paid for everything. "I didn't use Rodger to get into the UK -- I would never think like that. I thought I loved Rodger and wanted a long life together with him. But now I want a divorce."

COURT CASE: Pensioner John Gardiner admitted wrongly claiming £15,000 of benefits cash while he was working.
A LOVE-STRUCK Aberdeen pensioner duped by his Thai bride today said he was still "hurt" by the scam.
John Gardiner, 67, admitted he claimed £15,000 in incapacity benefits while he was working and sent the cash to his Asian wife. It later emerged that he was one of several men duped into paying the Thai woman cash. Gardiner, whose address was listed in the city's sheriff court papers as 28 Pennan Road, Aberdeen, previously admitted wrongly claiming £15,000 and failing to notify the authorities of a change in his circumstances.

A MAN choked his Thai bride to death at their home and then claimed to police she had threatened to make his life hell, a court has heard.

Rickie Nehls also told officers who attended the terraced property in Maple Crescent, Leigh, that his wife had kept threatening to leave him. Police found the body of Pornpilai Srisroy, known as Boom, covered by a duvet on the double bed and with a pillow over her face in the front bedroom. A post-mortem examination confirmed she had been strangled or choked. A jury at Preston Crown Court has been told that Nehls met his wife while on holiday in Thailand in 2001. The pair married around 2003, but she could not get a visa to come to this country until two years later. Nehls, 30, denies a charge of murder and a jury has been told that he admits manslaughter.
