Тут стоит заметить, что сельское население России в целом для нее нехарактерно. Урбанизация порядка 70%, да и высшее образование широко распространено. Так что, конечно, о каждой части населения стоит говорить, но комбайнеры и т.д. совершенно не являются "типично русскими".
