That is propaganda, you will be hard-pressed to find a slaughterhouse, especially nowadays, that treats livestock the way "Animal Rights" groups like PETA claim slaughterhouses do. ehhhh.... If that was the case then why do I see BJJ guys learning in judo schools? :\ Many of them come to judo because they feel they can work on their standup better in judo. Similar reason why I've seen (and fought with, at tournaments) Judo guys who take BJJ to help improve their newaza. We have a couple of BJJ black belts(one who even has a "Jiujitsu for Judo" class) in our Judo dojo, who kick ASS in the ground, but are just okay on standup.
