Hi, thank you for visiting. I took up dancing shortly after ending a long- term relationship. It was an escape from reality into a beautiful fantasy world in the arms of another if only for a few moments.

I'm not really a princess, nor do I expect anyone to be my knight in shining armor. I am fully aware that for most, your armor is old, dented and has some rust, you've slain dragons, fought wars and battled the wicked witch. And although, I no longer believe in fairytales, I still believe in the magic of love. While many of us may be broken in body, dented in heart, and rusty in love, we are not broken in spirit.

Salsa to me will always remain a symbol of my healing. To my unfulfilled dreams hopes, and expectations, I am releasing them with the year that has passed, appreciating each moment, open to the good things that want to enter into my life. Spending time with people I want and who truly want me in theirs. Forgiving past hurts and asking the same in return. And in those weak moments, simply reminding myself, I am not alone, we are still here, we can still love and be loved.

A man that views me as property and a man that views me properly. A man that lusts after me and a man that loves me. If I could have just one wish, I would wish to wake up everyday to the sound of your breath on my neck, the warmth of your lips on my cheek, the touch of your fingers on my skin, and the feel of your heart beating with mine... Knowing that I could never find that feeling with anyone other than you........

And I'm glad I didn't know the way it all would end, the way it all would go. Our lives, are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain, but I'd a had to miss..."the dance".

I just know that when I go on stage, I give everything I have, not only my legs, not only my feet, not only my body. I try to tell a story. Sometimes I'm able to cry because I feel like it. Sometimes I'm able to love because I feel like it. (Proudly representing Denver and those of us who believed in what we once thought was impossible. Here we come Los Angeles Salseros.)

Mind, Body and Spirit...I salsa dance for the stimulation, not for the attention. A feeling my non-dancing friends simply don't understand.
