I find it interesting how a lot of the posts on this page call them "film and video game music composers." It is okay. Try just saying high art music composers, or rather classical composers. That way we can include all the composers that died before the invention of movies.

How can you say that? No harpsichordist can equal Gould's playing of Bach, even if Gould is playing the piano. Why bother listening to Gould if you are just going to thrash on the fact that he plays the piano instead of the oh most holy and benevolent harpsichord?
