In the late 1970's a world famous singer offered me £2,700 for one of my songs. I refused to sell and opted instead for Royalties and a percentage of future sales - a decision that has made me financially secure. The song was a massive hit in the UK and had limited sucess in America.
I am friendly with 2 very famous people and knew 4 very famous "stars" who died. Obviously, I don't know the latter now. In fact, everyone I know is alive.
Life is a temporary situation and there is not a shred of evidence that I can find to support the idea life should be treated seriously.
Primarily, I use YouTube for entertainment purposes. Like most sensible human beings I reserve the right to change my opinion. However, I can honestly report that my basic beliefs or philosophy have never been altered in any way through exchanges with YouTubers. Ergo, I am not prepared to engage in lengthy psuedo debates via a maximum 500 letter facility. I am happy to debate ideas through personal message, on the condition that correspondents are (in my opinion) rational and intelligent.

LIKE EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE UK WHO PAYS TAXES I am currently a shareholder in several banks and finance houses - all the one's that went arse over belly in the last 2 years or so, as well as other companies. Every capitalist company that the UK government bailed out and nationalised - I'm now a shareholder. You'll be in the same situation yourself. Who'd have thought we'd be shareholders in the Royal Bank of Scotland and the like? Me ma would be proud.
