This album isn't as melodic as others, more based on slow epic great rythmes. I think it's due to Timmo's leaving : Polaris was in the middle because the band was still in the past, and now a new era can begin. Let's hope it will be as good as it was between 1995 and 2005, even if it's not the sa...

@TheEmpireofEagles Polaris is good, but not the best. I don't know if you know Destiny, Visions, Infinite and both Elements... The only thing I can say is that they are one hundred times better than Polaris.

Did you already listen to it in winter, when you're in the mountains, there's 1 meter of snow on the ground and much more falling, with a lot of wind?

Stratovarius makes at least 1 long song in each album. Very good but all of them are not as good as they could be staying epic from the beginning to the end. Everytime there are 1-2 min at the beginning and 3-4 min at the end that suck. BUT these are excellent songs, only it could be again better.

This is one of the best Ensiferum intros ever...
