About Me:

Between stage and screen work, I've played romantic leads, dastardly villains and everything in between! I've portrayed the devil, an investment banker, a cult leader, a mad artist, Banquo, a stand-up comedian, an insane asylum administrator, a crime boss, a vampire, a jester, a mad scientist, countless zombies and more! It's been fun, but I recently realized that I make more from sales of my paintings in one month than from a lifetime of all other art forms combined, acting included. I've enjoyed being the Jack Of All Arts, but I have a mortgage now. Not to put too fine on a point on it, but unless the pay is good, I'm no longer taking film or stage roles. ON PAINTING I am ever driven to portray the primal and the elegant, daydream and nightmare, freedom and dominion. I depict the friction, balance and commingling between the extremes, the omnipresence of life, death, and forms which transcend, feeding the flesh, stimulating the mind, and nourishing the spirit through delicate beauty and ever enduring legend. Hence the imagery hearkens to the most dramatic and romantic aesthetics of times gone by, while suggesting stranger stories to come. It is a great pleasure to arouse, amuse, or disturb, to spark combinations of these and more. This passion is mirrored in the obsessive attention to detail within my work. To bring ephemeral idea into form tangible to others, I've spent years in formal study, mastering the skill, and years since working the magic. A growing number of collectors have acquired my originals and prints. Some have commissioned personalized work. My arts have won awards, and have been featured in public galleries and exclusive clubs from San Francisco to Detroit.
