Hello, my name is Jarrett Tyler McBride.

I currently teach Muay Thai at World Gym Rochester (Aug 2011)
I am representing Ninjass Productions, and giving a little information about our purpose. We wish to provide not only "Real" martial arts entertainment, but comedy as well. We are not limited to fighting skits, however it is mostly preferred. The team and myself, initially wanted to do a spin-off of "Jackass", where the premise would be me dressing up as a ninja, and tormenting myself and others, however during the McDonald's flick I nearly got arrested...lol Hence Ninjass. "Ninjass" was supposed to mean the combination of "Ninja" a multifaceted fighter/psychologist, and "Ass" an idiot basically. But I decided to expand the horizon a little and I express my love for people and the martial arts.

1)what MA styles have you done and for how long?
-Karate: One year at age 8
-Shaolin Gung Fu: 6 months age 16
-American Wrestling(Greco Roman): one year age 15-16
-Unified Tae Kwon do: one year age 18-19
-Master Kim's Tae kwon do: one year age 19-20
-Soon Jeon Ho's World Tae kwon do: one year age 20-21
-World Gym MMA: Muay Thai, MMA, Boxing and Ju Jitsu 21-present

- The rest was insignificant in time: Caperoria, Ninjitsu, wing chun and Brazilian Ju jitsu were in short class time frames. Alot of book reading and video watching as well.

All together about 4-5 years formal training and the rest is all informal from sparring and learning.

2)when did u start MA training?
I began reading Martial Arts literature at a young age because I could not afford to go to a class. From watching power rangers and Dragon ball Z; and my Mother introducing me to Bruce Lee I began pursue being the "Best". But first class was around age 8 in karate. Didn't like karate too much however.

Whats your favorite technique?
Spinning Hook Kick and Muay Thai Clinch

3)Whos your favorite Martial Artist?
Jackie Chan, and then myself : )

4)What are your future goals for Martial Arts?
I want to change the idea of brutal force in Martial arts, and join the UFC. I also want to use my training to teach and learn from others in the world. I developed a Group called "Fighting Sprout" that is now in its infancy, but I hope that it will manifest into something great.
5) Are you planning to learn a new style in the future? If so , what kind?
I firmly believe as Bruce Lee said...something like this "Style separates and causes fallacy for doctrines as gospel truths. If you know the roots of combat there is no such thing as style of fighting." So I just learn from everyone I encounter, and I am learning there is not much difference. But to say in the least I want to learn Gung Fu principles.

6) What made you start doing Martial Arts?
I began doing martial arts because I wanted to be a super hero as a child, but didn't like to hurt people. So I thought if I practice in martial arts enough, like everyone said, I could fight without fighting. I could get powers that would manipulate people's action to do good things. But Now I figure hurting an opponent's physical body can heal their soul. I believe that being recognized in an opponent has to be truthful. As most of the people I have fought I have truly felt a bound. Thus Martial Arts can make me a super hero.

7) What does Martial Arts mean to you?
Martial arts are the single most important act in my life. I have done many things, but the Arts make me feel worth it. I would be very grateful to be the best, for I practice for God. So martial arts is an extension to my God that is why I love it so much. For I use all the elements/components God has given me in accord (Mind, Body and Spirit), therefore in action I am becoming God's vessel of perfection. When I thought about Martial Arts before I figured I could actually do it, I have realized that "Thinking brings fourth manifestation."Martial arts and fighting in general is a symbolic concept to me. For my entire life...I fight for everything. A Fight is a metaphor that all life shares.
