@Retrotv I talked to another guy on here who has a Dallas channel about that and he said he thought sponsor plugs weren't used regularly until about 1985 or '86. In fact, I remember my mom watching the show circa late '86-early '87 and always hearing the sponsor after the opening. But then again...
