Taylors Pov: she looked up at me with eyes full of fear. I looked at the guy who had thrown her in the room "what seems to be the problem?" I said returning to my seat. The guy gave Rose a dirty look and replied "she refuses to do her job." I sighed and peered over the desk to see Rose had tucked herself into a ball. She was still untouched by any other guy but me, she's still all mine.
I ran my hand through my hair and gave the guy two girls instead of Rose. Once he agreed he left and I closed the door quietly behind him. I turned to see Rose still on the floor. "Rose..." I said getting onto my knees and gently stroked her hair. "Please!" she whispered "don't hurt me" I sighed and pulled her into my arms and whispered against her forehead "no, I can't hit you" i kissed her forehead, trying to calm her but she never stopped crying. I wish i could say that word, a word i rarely used, 'sorry'. I just tightened my grip on her tiny figure.
Awhile later I stood and helped her up too, "go to your apartment and get some rest" and she nodded, her eyes search for mine i could feel them trying to look straight into mine but i felt far to guilty to stare into her longing, green eyes. She let out a small sigh and left. I closed my eyes; I'm such a dick...
Rose's Pov: he didn't hit me. I couldn't believe it. I walked into the open plan entrance hall. The girl wasn't at her desk now probably sorting out Mr. Rowe. I looked at the glass door, I needed to go, and I couldn't stay here with Mr. Bipolar! I took a deep breath and ran. I ran faster than ever, fear of being chased overwhelmed me. After running I stopped getting an idea of where I was. 'Richards Street' I knew from here my home was a couple of blocks away. Adrenalin took over and I sprinted off and soon I was there, in front of my brothers building.
I climbed the steep steps and saw Amy, Jesse's secretary. In disbelief she dropped all the files in her hands and ran over and embraced me, whispering 'oh my god!" I felt her tears on my shoulder. She then turned and banged Jesse's office door. He flew out ready to yell at Amy but froze in midsentence. His face was sunken with bags under his blue eyes. I ran and hugged him. I was home with Jesse, I was safe again.
