The A. Alvarez in the movie describes "Lady Lazarus" as being written "without a trace of anger," yet in a Sylvia Plath documentary, the real Alvarez describes it as "a very angry poem...a declaration of war."

It seems that the filmmakers had a really shallow understanding of Plath's life and personality, especially her relationship with Hughes. Just because they were both poets doesn't mean they only spoke to each other in poetry, or that they went around having conversations like "I wonder if that p...
