ah, German and Japanese cars... owned both, loved both. I'd say for everyday, german cars rocks, but for the week end, most of them are boring, I can't see what german car would replace my S2000. But I think that is the evolution, there isn't a sexy Honda anymore :(

S2000 is a great car, I own one (I wouldn't mind owning a Z4 too), but it's not THAT fast, it especially lacks some midrange torque. The Z4 3.0 is faster, fact. Don't care actully, because I don't think it's as FUN in the twisties ;)

gtbol135qw, your post doesn't make any sense. Boxster has the same weight and size as the S2000, still lost badly. It's a great car, but too slow (BTW it's not a S, the S would have won, but it's way more expensive)

this "only" has 225hp, you stupid. It's a Megane 2, and it's really quick, much quicker than the 1.8 turbo from Audi (and Seat)

I've hit 230 on the german autobahn with my '84 standard 924. I assumed the speedo was a bit optimistic or a bit of read wind... but it always felt slightly faster than 125hp. Maybe it was running a bit rich. Oh, and it had 220.000 km on the clock :)

actually, 3.4 996 are so cheap, you can buy it instead of a Boxster S. The question is : should you? not sure

interesting the Z4 is only 0.5s slower than a JDM S2000 with a 5 speed SMG gearbox

with a eurospec S2000 and a manual 6 speed Z4 I'm pretty sure the Z4 would be in front

BTW, this S2000 was WAY faster than a normal S2000, and still nowhere near the Z4M. Power isn't everything... but it helps a lot

aftereffects > the 350Z hasn't "won every challenge". It's too heavy and on the limit, it shows. I wouldn't prefer the Z4 3.0si Coupé to the 350Z, though

extra passager + SMG = it slows down. The 350Z might be a little faster, but it not as clear as it looks in this video. 0.8s difference in 0-160 is nothing

les 996 3.4 ne sont absolument pas surcotées, plutôt très sous-cotées. Les 3.2 elles sont surcotées, comme les 964 et 993
