Niftic.....they become monks or novices to make MERIT(good karma) not money. A buddhist monk never gets "Paid." I think you may have mistaken what was said in the video when you wrote the description. The narrator said the following: "sometimes a man will become a monk in order to make MERIT to please his parents" -this is what the narrator said...not money....merit...geeeez very misleading description you put up....you could change it....would be very cool if you did. -Thanks good vid anyways
