Through science we know how stars and planets formed, and like in every field of science, be it biology, cosmology, or any other, the supernatural does not play any role in the explanation because anything supernatural is a non-answer by necessity. When our knowledge expands, our need for a god to explain something becomes less and less until religion is but a relic of the past.
