I believe it. The C9 is not a bad pistol at all for the price, if you know what ammo it likes. It is not a good competition pistol in IPSC, IDPA, etc... because of the fact it only likes ammo with a good kick and has very poor trigger reset.

Indeed, even with foam ear plugs, it will damage your hearing. A couple years of service and several years playing or hanging out at heavy metal concerts have given me tinnitis. It's not fun, believe me, it's a pain in the ass.
