As for physics I'm going to need to see the act played out in full to get a solid opinion on it. Overall while there are a couple of drawbacks I'm not going flat out say "THIS IS CRAP" or "SONIC CYCLE ALL OVER AGAIN" I'm still looking forward to it.

After watching the gameplay footage here are my opinions, yes there is a lot of unnecessary springs, I wouldn't say the act is linear I noticed you can go over or under the water and for the co op gameplay I welcome it would be as eggman puts it a change of pace Tails seems a lot more useful than previous titles such as carrying sonic underwater and the twin spin dash move or whatever its called could just be used for particular routes

Anyway. This footage is utter garbage but the game has more to offer. Let's hope this is the same as Gens Green Hill and it's only the first stage that's automated
