About Nix
Nick Lopez is a 15-year-old Pop/Rock artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Nick has been performing regularly since age 11 at local open mic nights and at various venues in San Francisco, wanting to become Bruce Springsteen on stage. In 2009, he started posting his performance videos on YouTube, generating thousands of views. Nick's success on YouTube drove him to pursue recording his first single, "Fading Away," which was released in April of 2010. It featured accomplished Rock musician and producer, Jeff Brown. (Nick's uncle). The single was released under Nick's stage name, "Nix."
One month later, Nix's second singe, "November's Eyes," was released. In the summer of 2010, Nix collaborated with a local songwriter and 2 rappers on the East Coast to produce his debut album, "Fireworks." The album was released in December of 2010. Today, Nix continues to write and perform, and is currently working on the second music video for the album.
