Nick Severe is not your run of the mill rapper; and he knows this. In
an era where many musicians thrive off of fleeting trends and attempt
to succeed using gimmicks, he pushes forward with genuine talent and
hard lyrical content. The perfect balance between conscious
Underground Hip Hop and its entertaining Mainstream counterpart is the
well-crafted niche where you'll find Nick. Refusing to get caught up
in hypes, he believes that his signature sound is exactly "what the
game needs" and stays consistent in producing quality music to prove
this. As a huge fan of creative, conceptual projects, he is soon to
release "Masterpiece Theatre," a visual mixtape that, along with a
variety of amazing tracks, will include several music videos and his
new documentary, "Behind the Mic." In one of the most memorable lines from his documentary he
states, "I'd rather make a song than have sex." Evident in his work
and his words is a vibrant passion for his "grind." This state of mind
has done nothing but fuel his rising success. Nick currently has two
songs featured in the Bollywood movie "Spanish Beauty (A Beautiful
Wife)," one of which reached #1 spot on the Indian Movie Soundtrack
charts. Since recently performing along side Ras Kass and Tash of The
Alkaholiks and, following a short hiatus after the "One Love Tour,"
Nick has other tours in the works. Steadily gaining the attention of
an eager audience with his indisputable artistic ability, Nick Severe
